
MINUTY
WHITE AND GOLD
In less than a decade, the "Gold" range has become the signature of Château Minuty. The result of meticulous plot-by-plot work, these vintages are distinguished by their naturalness and finesse.

THE STORY
This cuvée is a property wine. The OR range was born with white, because Etienne Matton had planted Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier with promising potential under the Provençal sun. Jean-Etienne and François decided to create a new cuvée with these two aromatic grape varieties that they blended with Rolle, a traditional grape variety of Provence. A unique blend in total agreement with the signature of the House, which is based around a beautiful aromatic richness and a finesse of flavors.

THE METHOD
The grapes from the estate (certified High Environmental Value) are harvested by hand. The Sauvignon and Viognier are picked early to best preserve their aromatic richness. The juices, resulting from a light skin maceration to extract the beautiful aromas, are carefully settled and undergo alcoholic fermentation at low temperature. This wine is made from 100% free-run juice.

THE TASTE
This vintage is characterized by aromatic richness thanks to the Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. The nose is very intense. Notes of exotic fruits and citrus mingle with more delicate notes of white flowers. The palate is balanced, at once full-bodied, airy, tangy, and fresh, with a finish of iodine and aniseed notes.

THE MOMENT
Serve cold (8-10°) in summer and cool (10-12°) during other seasons. The Blanc et Or Cuvée calls for ultra-iodized seafood, sea urchin and oysters in particular. But the entire seafood platter will be welcome, as well as noble fish. Its aniseed notes will pair perfectly with the traditional pissaladière. But also, duck foie gras, raw meat tartare or carpaccio will be dishes to favor with the Blanc et Or. For dessert, sorbets.
