La Bastide de Verez, the most recent of the Matton family estates, is nestled at the foot of the Massif des Maures in a preserved environment of cork oaks and umbrella pines.
A great serenity emanates from the place where the view extends over 360°. The richness of the clay-sand soils with ochre colors has allowed the creation of a 40-hectare AOC Côtes de Provence vineyard, immediately neighboring the oldest vineyard of the family, Chateauneuf.
Arriving in Verez, all the emblematic elements of Provence are revealed: terraced gardens, olive trees, country houses. The dominance of green and ochre calls out to us.
Like a jewel case, nature envelops us and protects us from the hottest hours of summer. Sunsets ignite the landscapes, giving them a wild appearance.
By taking over the estate, we decided to continue and expand the guest houses in order to share moments of life with our friends and our customers.
