the story

This vintage embodies the ambition of creating a high-end Provençal red. A terroir wine, rooted in the schist soils of Gassin, which give it unique depth and complexity. This wine is distinguished by its distinguished character, driven by the nobility of Mourvèdre, an exceptional grape variety that brings structure and elegance.

the method

The Rouge et Or cuvée comes from the Gassin Estate's vines, carefully selected from crystalline schist plots, certified High Environmental Value (HVE). The harvest is carried out entirely by hand. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out under precise temperature control to preserve the fruit's expression and the finesse of the aromas. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels. Aging, lasting less than a year, is carried out in French oak barrels, with some new barrels.

Food and wine pairings

This wine stands out for its ability to enhance dishes with character. Sweet and savory Asian sauces will find a perfect synergy with the wine's dark fruit aromas. It pairs perfectly with a five-course duck dish, as well as Japanese-style fried fish. Indian cuisine, particularly spicy tandoori chicken, will also be enhanced by its complex notes.
