the story

The OR range was born with white, inspired by the vision of Étienne Matton, who had planted Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier, promising grape varieties under the Provençal sun. Wishing to enhance the potential of these varieties, his sons, Jean-Etienne and François, decided to create a new cuvée by blending them with Rolle, the emblematic grape variety of Provence. This unique marriage perfectly embodies the signature of Maison Minuty, combining aromatic richness and finesse of flavors.

the method

The Blanc et Or cuvée comes from the three major terroirs of the Estate (schist, clay and sand), all certified High Environmental Value (HVE), and whose harvests are carried out entirely by hand. Only free-run juices, renowned for their finesse and purity, are used to produce this exceptional cuvée. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out at low temperatures to preserve the freshness and aromatic expression of the grape varieties. No malolactic fermentation is carried out, thus maintaining all the liveliness and natural balance of the wine.

Food and wine pairings

Minuty Blanc et Or pairs perfectly with the most iodized seafood. It particularly enhances sea urchin and oysters, but will also complement a whole platter of shellfish, as well as noble fish. Its delicate aniseed notes find perfect harmony with dishes like the traditional pissaladière, and its freshness blends delicately with duck foie gras, or raw meats in tartare or carpaccio. For dessert, its lightness will pair very well with citrus sorbets or fresh fruit.
