In less than a decade, the "Or" range has become Château Minuty's signature. The result of meticulous plot selection, these cuvées stand out for their naturalness and finesse.
THE STORY
This cuvée is a vin de Propriété. The GOLD range was born with the white, as Etienne Matton had planted Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier with promising potential under the Provencal sun. Jean-Etienne and François decided to create a new cuvée with these two aromatic grape varieties, which they blended with Rolle, the traditional grape variety of Provence. A singular blend in total harmony with the House's signature aromatic richness and finesse of flavor.
THE METHOD
Hand-picked grapes from the winery (High Environmental Value certification). Sauvignon and Viognier grapes are picked early to lock in their wealth of aromas. Light skin-contact brings out fantastic aromas in the juices that are carefully racked and fermented at a low temperature.

THE FLAVOUR
This cuvée is richly aromatic, thanks to Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. The nose is very intense. Notes of exotic fruit and citrus mingle with those of more delicate white flowers. The palate is balanced, full-bodied, airy, acidic and fresh, with a finish of iodized and aniseed notes.
THE EXPERIENCE
Serve chilled (8-10°) in summer and cool (10-12°) in other seasons. The Cuvée Blanc et Or calls for ultra-iodized seafood, with sea urchin and oysters a priority. But it's also a perfect match for all the finest fish. Its aniseed notes are a perfect match for the traditional pissaladière. Foie gras de canard, tartar or carpaccio of raw meat are also dishes to be served with Blanc et Or. For dessert, sorbets.
