MINUTY CASTLE
RED AND GOLD
In less than a decade, the "Gold" range has become the signature of Château Minuty. The result of meticulous plot-by-plot work, these vintages are distinguished by their naturalness and finesse.

THE STORY
With this vintage, the idea of a Provençal red was born, at once a terroir wine, reflecting the schist soils of Gassin, a distinguished wine, reflecting the great nobility of Mourvèdre and a Minuty wine, reflecting the style where refinement, lightness and generosity are combined. An ambitious and successful triptych.

THE METHOD
A 100% estate wine with viticulture and yields adapted to each plot, tailor-made grassing to achieve optimal grape maturity each year. A single terroir, 100% Gassin, the Château's site, with its beautiful crystalline schist. Two grape varieties, Mourvèdre in the vast majority with a touch of Syrah. Harvested by hand, the grapes are then destemmed and crushed. They undergo a cold pre-fermentation maceration to extract deep black fruit aromas, then are fermented with temperature control during both fermentations. Very little handling then, the wine is aged for less than a year in French oak barrels. Everything is done to extract only what is strictly necessary to obtain an elegant wine.

THE TASTE
A garnet color with topaz highlights, the Mourvèdre expresses all its delicacy. The sea spray of the Presqu'ile has tamed its fragility. The nose is fruity with notes of red berries. The wine settles on the palate, its texture delicate and airy. A wine of finesse.

THE MOMENT
A wine for dishes with character, sweet and savory Asian sauces will pair well with the wine's dark fruits. Duck in five courses, fried fish prepared Japanese-style, Indian cuisine with tandoori chicken. In Provence, we'll feast on leg of lamb.
