the story

Created over 25 years ago, this cuvée embodies the vision of Jean-Etienne and François Matton: to offer a wide audience of lovers of Provençal rosés an authentically Provençal wine, where aromatic richness blends with a light and refined palate. The result of an in-depth knowledge of the terroirs of Provence, this wine reflects the balance between power and finesse.

the method

Minuty Prestige Rosé is the result of a rigorous selection of grapes from the finest terroirs of Provence, complemented by selected plots within the Estate. After the harvest, pressing allows for a careful separation between the free-run juices and the pressed juices, in order to retain only the purest fractions. Alcoholic fermentation is then carried out at low temperature, in order to preserve the aromatic freshness. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out, in order to preserve all the tension and liveliness of the wine.

Food and wine pairings

The mineral and saline finish of this Provence rosé makes it a perfect partner for seafood. Salty oysters are the ideal companion, as are whelks, clams, clams, and the entire seafood platter. Raw fish in ceviche, sashimi, or sushi pair perfectly, as do California rolls or simply grilled fish with a drizzle of olive oil. This rosé also finds its place in southern cuisine, with a particular affinity for Italian cuisine: a crispy Milanese escalope, linguine alle vongole, or a beautiful burrata flavored with basil. Not to mention Provençal classics, such as stuffed vegetables or a vegetable tian.
