the story

Rose and Gold represent the signature of Château Minuty.
Sourced exclusively from the three great historical terroirs of the Estate, this cuvée was conceived as a pure and accomplished incarnation of Minuty elegance, where aromatic generosity combines with a palate of great finesse and remarkable delicacy.
Created in 2009, Rose et Or was born from the Matton family's desire to elevate the expression of the Minuty style to its highest level. Designed to succeed the famous Oratoire cuvée that made the Château renowned, it has become the benchmark for gastronomic rosé in less than a decade.

the method

The Rose et Or cuvée comes from plots in the three major terroirs of the Estate (schist, clay, and sand), all certified High Environmental Value (HVE), with harvests carried out entirely by hand. Only free-run juices, renowned for their finesse and purity, are selected for the production of this cuvée. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperatures to preserve the freshness and aromatic expression of the grape varieties. No malolactic fermentation is carried out, thus guaranteeing the liveliness and natural balance that characterize this wine.

Château Minuty Rose et Or pairs perfectly with a wide variety of dishes, offering a perfect match with exceptional seafood, such as plump oysters, Madagascar shrimp, or beautiful shellfish. This rosé also enhances exotic and Asian dishes, such as a fragrant pad Thai or a Réunion rougail, bringing freshness and complexity. It also pairs perfectly with the essential bouillabaisse, while also pairing well with fresh, young cheeses, such as brousse or fresh goat cheese. For dessert, its finesse and lightness pair perfectly with exotic fruit sorbets, offering a fruity and refreshing conclusion to your meal.
