CHÂTEAU MINUTY
ROSE ET OR
In less than a decade, the "Or" range has become Château Minuty's signature. The result of meticulous plot selection, these cuvées stand out for their naturalness and finesse.
THE STORY
This cuvée is an estate wine. It was born in 2009 with the determination to push even further the search for delicacy and elegance on the palate, as well as the aromatic generosity on the nose, signatures of the Domaine. To achieve this, the estate's three great terroirs have been skilfully blended, and Rose et Or embodies the taste of Château Minuty.
THE METHOD
Grapes 100% from the estate, harvested by hand. HVE (High Environmental Value) certification for the entire property since 2019 (160 hectares). The grapes are harvested by hand when just ripe and come from three terroirs: Gassin, the site of the Château, with its beautiful crystalline schist; Vidauban, the historic site, with its deep red clay soils; and Ramatuelle, on the sands with a view of the sea, for lightness. 100% free-run juice selected by Jean-Etienne and François Matton, who are in charge of pressing. These free-run juices are collected by gravity in the vats, then subjected to meticulous settling and alcoholic fermentation with drastic temperature control. No malolactic fermentation, as with all Minuty rosés.
THE FLAVOUR
A cuvée full of finesse: aromas with notes of citrus fruit and garrigue. Airy on the palate. Its minerality gives it a distinctive freshness, enhanced by a salinity typical of the terroir.
THE EXPERIENCE
Serve chilled (8-10°) in summer and cool (10-12°) in other seasons. The cuvée Château Minuty Rose et Or, with its generous, delicate suppleness, can accompany a wide variety of dishes, especially as it brings out the spices. We recommend seafood from the finest origins: meaty oysters, shrimps from Madagascar, beautiful shellfish, as well as exotic and Asian dishes such as pad thai or rougail from Reunion Island. The inevitable bouillabaisse. Fresh, young cheeses for cooked cheeses. And for dessert, chocolate pastries or exotic fruit sorbets.
